We have recently undertaken some interesting one off deep cleans for a variety of clients. Does your building need a deep clean?
No matter how good your daily cleaners are, there are bound to be some things that they miss or that they simply do not have the tool or expertise to clean. For example, do they have pole dusters that can remove cobwebs that are very high up on ceilings? And do they have the required safety ladders and a colleague to hold the ladder when climbing up the ladder? For most cleaners, the answer is "probably not".
At KCS we specialise in one off deep cleans of all building types- from school deep cleans done in the school holidays to deep cleans done after upon completion of a new building. In such cleaning jobs, we have access to a variety of tools, such as high access platforms and towers as well as scrubbing machines and carpet cleaning machines.
As well as state of the art equipment we pride ourselves on our rapid response times.
Frequently deep cleans are required at short notice, in the past we have deep cleaned new buildings and existing buildings with only 24 hours notice
If your building needs a periodic clean please call us and we will pop and see you at a time that is convenient to you.

Cleaning Quality
One question many potential clients ask us is "How do you manage the quality of the cleaning?"
Maintaining a high standard of cleaning throughout the course of a contract is arguably the most important thing that any cleaning company needs to do. At KCS, we have invested considerable time over the years in developing our Quality Management System. It comprises the following principles:
1) Regular site inspections. We make sure we rotate the person who is inspecting so that it is not always the same person. We have found this "fresh set of eyes" approach to be very effective
2) Regular feedback to cleaners
3) A client communication log in which all communication is documented
4) Regular meetings with our clients - face to face
5) In addition to face to face meetings, contact via email and phone
6) Training - for the cleaners as well as supervisors and back office staff

School cleaning services in Kent
We are pleased to announce we have added a new page on our website detailing our school cleaning service. School cleaning is different to cleaning other types of buildings, for several reasons. Firstly, it needs to be done in the late evening or very early in the morning, when neither pupils nor teachers are there, in order to minimise disruption. Secondly, although less hours of cleaning are needed in the school holidays, a deep clean is needed at least once a year and ideally three times a year. This then ensures that any germs in the school are eliminated. Schools, if not kept clean, can be a real breading ground for germs!

Health and Safety in Cleaning
Any company who you choose to use these days should be able to satisfy you of their Health and Safety credentials. Here at Kent Cleaning Solutions we take Health and Safety very seriously.
We have a written health and safety policy which is given to all new employees. This covers many areas including footware, clothing and working practices. In addition, information on all the cleaning chemicals we use is contained in the CoSHH safety data sheets that we have. CoSHH stands for control of substances hazardous to health and gives guidelines on how to safely use all of our chemicals.
We are sometimes asked to provide a quotation for a client site that has building works ongoing, and in this case we can provide our own PPE (personal protective equipment). This includes a hard hat, steel capped boots and a high visibility jacket. More details can be found at our website cleaning services kent

We will be improving the cleaning immediately by doing a one off deep clean free of charge in order to bring the building up to our cleaning standards. The building needs to be very clean, especially when you consider that children as young as 2 go there.
